Toilets at the COP 22

Stinky no no, only innovative. As I was sitting on the toilet I remembered learning in Italy that every time you flush a toilet it uses 6 liters of water. I thought this was really unsustainable so while I pondered on this thought, I found a sign saying that they recycle all the soapy water from the sinks we use to wash our hands to flush the toilets. They use a greywater system to do this. How cool is this, way to use technology, COP 22!!!!

    Isabel,

I enjoyed reading your blog. Your reflection reminds me that next week I need to ask at work about starting an initiative to recycle washbasin water in all our buildings.
